I was taking Ben into school this morning and had to stop halfway across the road because some idiot in a flash car suddenly pulled up on the zigzags outside the school and then moved forward even though his door was open. I don’t know why but this morning I felt really annoyed about it and decided to go and have a word with this thoughtless arrogant person.
I leaned down and said “you do know you’re not supposed to stop here – the law does apply to you as well!”
As the words were coming out of my mouth I looked up and saw a very smartly dressed Indian man in the drivers seat and suddenly I felt my words has sounded racist which they weren’t but they could have been construed that way 😦
