On site all dsy at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane filming for the Muslim News Awards of Excellence. The guest of honour was, as I’d already guessed at my meeting a week or so ago, the Prime Minister David Cameron. Who looks just as smarmy in real life!
I really enjoyed the evening – I was filming interviews with the award winners. We had a lovely curry – quite ironic as Lissi had had curry with Ed Milliband last week. I didn’t get away till 12:30 and could really have done without the magical mystery tour from the cab driver on the way home!
