Woke up early this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep so I got dressed and went for a walk along the beach. It was a lovely sunny morning and there was hardly anyone around. I walked along the water line dodging the water as the waves broke on the shore until I came to an outlet where my path was blocked by a fast flowing torrent of water.
It was a pumping station that was pumping the water from a low lying river up over the sea defences into a channel that then flowed out to sea. I then headed back worried that Sarah would be wondering where I was but when I got back everyone was still asleep.
We spent the day at a camel park where there were llamas and alpacas as well as camels.
